Our custom-built, slow-speed forced-draft pelletizer reliably transforms dried sewage sludge into dust-free, durable pellets — significantly reducing the risks of dust explosions and health hazards.

From wet sludge handling to drying and logistics, our entire system is designed for emission-free operation. The dryer operates under vacuum to prevent emissions, and the dried sludge is transferred into a sealed container, where a fully automated pelletizing process takes place.

The result: high-quality, abrasion-resistant pellets that eliminate the need for complex silo storage or logistics — safe, clean, and efficient.

Our STR drying system drastically reduces the volume of dewatered sewage sludge:
From an original 5,000 metric tons per year — requiring around 210 truck trips — the volume is reduced to just 1,389 metric tons annually after drying. That means only 58 truck trips are needed — with the same amount of material.

Our hygienized sludge pellets are not only safe for open storage but also remarkably versatile in their applications. Thanks to a specially developed drying process, we produce a high-quality material ideal for both energy recovery and material recycling:

  • Incineration – used as an efficient, carbon-reducing alternative fuel with high calorific value

  • Gasification – for the production of syngas in industrial processes

  • Phosphorus Recovery – a valuable resource for the production of sustainable fertilizers
